SAFE SKIES: CIAS COMPLETES OPERATIONAL TEST AND EVALUATION

CIAS Security is proud to announce that the ERMO 482X Pro 3.0 microwave system and Sioux MEMS Pro2 fence-detection system have completed operational test and evaluation by National Safe Skies Alliance, Inc. at their Perimeter Test Facility in October 2023. These reports are available to qualified airport personnel at US commercial-service airports via the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN).

Both of the CIAS technologies tested by Safe Skies are deployed at critical infrastructure sites and airports worldwide. Safe Skies, an independent third-party, non-profit organization funded by the Federal Aviation Administration, conducts thorough testing of security systems’ detection capabilities, reliability, and maintainability under active airport operational and environmental conditions. Safe Skies performs its evaluations under an ISO 9001:2015 - approved Quality Management System.

DISCOVER THE TECHNOLOGIES

The ERMO 482X Pro 3.0 Digital Microwave Barrier, featuring digital signal analysis has the ability to protect perimeters from 50 up to 500 meters. The internal microprocessor uses fuzzy logic analysis to analyze the received signal. The analysis is able to rule out environmental alarms and crossing by small animals, giving very high performance in detection probability and low false alarm rates.

The Sioux MEMS Pro2 Perimeter Fence Detection System measures accelerations caused by any climbing, cutting, or sensor displacement attempts, as well as fence lifting and leaning of a ladder against it. It operates on the same chip technology as the smartphone. Every sensor can be individually set for sensitivity and can be installed on any type of fence fabric and walls.
